Sensorium
Short film. 20 minutes. 2021.
A queer fantasia on the slippages of memory, scholarship, meaning-making, and the transcendental.
Sensorium presents juxtaposing personal, political, and pop narratives without the intention of moving the audience through plot or action. Rather, my filmmaking operates to create a space for the audience to enter a detached—sometimes even intentionally boring—dreamstate, allowing a myriad of senses to play upon the subconscious.
Premiere: Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Castro Theatre.
