Times Square, 1976

Inspired by research into 1970s sex culture in New York and Sheldon Nadelman's documentary images of pimps and prostitutes outside the Terminal Bar near Times Square, this project examines the history of queer and trans sex work in the 1970s at venues like G.G's Barnum Room and Club Edelweiss.
