Box Dance

The constant return to subtle adjustments of effort required in handling one’s weight, executed in the same evenly paced, rhythmically uninflected dynamic.

Box Dance encompasses a set of two simultaneously arranged but non-synchronized propositions: a sequence of action-activities involving a constant return to an office supply box, and the narration of the complete text on that box. The unfolding of each proposition occurs without direct correlation; the dance is not choreographed to the text and the text does not illustrate the dance. Rather, the two exist concurrently.
